The hot “dog days” of Summer remind us of the need for refreshing breezes for our comfort and ice cold water to quench our thirst. Have you ever been so thirsty that you would pay whatever the cost for a drink of water? There once was a man who begged for just the tip of the finger to be dipped in water to cool his tongue.  This man was wealthly in life, and could have what he pleased. However, he finds himself in a place of torment and heat such as we have never known. The rich man realizes too late that he failed to know the mercy of a loving Savior. Luke 16:19-31.

As we deal with Summer’s heat, remember there is cool refreshment in knowing God and His mercy. If you are not familiar with this mercy or wish to find out more, we invite you to come visit Welcome Home Baptist Church. We welcome your presence.
